Who you are buying from

This site is operated by JOARR HOT FOOD EMPORIUM LIMITED (company number 10283868), registered at 139 Bispham Road, Southport, PR9 7BL, trading as Jo Kelly's. References to “we” and “us” mean that company.

Age-restricted products — 18+

We sell alcohol, tobacco, vaping products and other age-restricted goods. It is a criminal offence to buy or attempt to buy these on behalf of someone under 18.

• You must be 18 or over to order age-restricted items.
• At checkout you confirm that you are 18 or over. That confirmation is your own declaration — it is not an identity check, and it does not complete the sale.
• The age check happens at your door. We operate Challenge 25: our rider will ask for photo ID on delivery if the person receiving the order appears under 25. See our Age Checks & Challenge 25 page for how this works.
• Acceptable ID must carry a photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark. We accept: a UK photocard driving licence, a passport, a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram, a military ID card, or a biometric residence permit. We also accept PASS-accredited digital IDs.
• If ID is not produced, appears altered, or shows the recipient is under 18, the rider will refuse the handover. The order is cancelled and refunded in full.
• We will also refuse the handover if the person receiving the order appears intoxicated, or if the rider believes the order is being bought on behalf of someone under 18 (a proxy sale). The order is cancelled and refunded in full.
• Every refusal is recorded against the account, and repeated refusals may mean we decline to serve you in future.
• We will not leave age-restricted items unattended, with a neighbour, or with anyone who appears intoxicated.

Tobacco, vapes and nicotine products

Nicotine products are governed by their own rules, separate from the law on alcohol, and in places stricter. Everything in the section above applies to them as well as the following.

• You must be 18 or over to buy cigarettes, rolling tobacco, cigars, cigarette papers, filters, tips, vaping devices, e-liquids or nicotine pouches. Challenge 25 applies to all of them.
• Buying any of these for someone under 18 is a criminal offence in its own right, separate from the equivalent offence for alcohol.
• We do not sell single-use disposable vapes. Their sale has been prohibited in England since 1 June 2025. Every vaping device we list is rechargeable and takes a replaceable pod or coil.
• The vaping products we sell are notified to the MHRA and meet the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 — tanks no larger than 2ml, e-liquid bottles no larger than 10ml, and nicotine strength no higher than 20mg/ml.
• We sell nicotine pouches as 18+ as a matter of our own policy, whether or not a statutory minimum age applies to them.
• Where the law sets a minimum age higher than 18 for a particular product or person, we apply that higher age instead.

Tobacco listings on this site are a price list, shown to customers who have chosen to view that category. They are not an advertisement and are not intended to promote smoking or vaping.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm the order by email. We may decline an order — for example if we cannot verify age, an item is unavailable, or the delivery address falls outside our area.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout by card through Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. If a price is listed in error we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.

The minimum order is £10.00 of goods. Delivery costs £2.50, and is free on orders of £25.00 or more. The total you pay, delivery included, is shown before you pay.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses within 5 miles of our shop on Bispham Road, Southport, measured in a straight line to the centre of the delivery postcode. Estimated times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by weather, traffic and demand. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive an order containing age-restricted items.

Our liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
